Standard installation includes:
Standard installation consists of one or more Analog Telephone Adapters (ATAs) depending on the number of phone lines ordered. These devices plug into your internet router or switch and then into your existing telephone(s).
Each ATA is capable of providing two phone lines. Adding more than two lines requires an additional ATA.
Standard installation does not include:
- Inside phone wiring. We’re happy to work with you or your contractor on the technical requirements if you need to run phone or network cabling, but like your old phone company we are unable to manage your inside wiring.
Recommended Small Business or Residential Phone Equipment
MyJECVoice uses the same phones your previous service from the phone company uses. This gives you a great deal of flexibility while eliminating the need to buy new, costly equipment.
To mitigate the need for costly and time consuming cable runs, MyJECVoice recommends that you use a base phone with wireless extensions, placing the base near the MyJECVoice Analog Telephone Adapter, and placing the wireless extensions in other rooms.
There are many low-cost options by companies such as V=Tech, AT&T and Uniden which are readily available at many local retail outlets or online at Amazon.
